The Bronx chapter # 175, will join over 900 chapters across the United States and Canada in observing AHEPA Day on Sunday, May 19, 2013.
Guided by the theme "Maintain the Values and Spirit of Your Hellenic Heritage," the chapter will kick off its activities with members attending liturgy at 10:00 a.m.
Following the service, AHEPA will sponsor a social hour of coffee and delicacies. come join us!

The Pelham Bay Greek Festival celebrates the best of Greek food, music, dancing and culture.
Experience authentic Greek foods and homemade Greek pastries; traditional Greek dancing by the Greek American Institute students and Greek music; an outdoor and indoor marketplace full of vendors, a flea market , and area for kids with carnival rides & games and other children’s activities, and much more.

The cost of the sponsorship is $100.00.
Signs bearing the logo and name of each business and sponsor is displayed around the festival grounds.
This is a perfect way to show your love for your parish and at the same time advertise your business.
Please look for the sponsorship application in your mail or pick one up at the church office and send it with your payment to the church.

We are grateful to those who have submitted and increased their 2013 pledges. But the job isn't finished. We need everyone to join us in laboring, shoulder to shoulder with one another, to maintain Zoodohos Peghe as the shining beacon - for Orthodoxy and Hellenism.
We all want the Church to be there for us. If our church is to remain vibrant we each need to contribute our fair share, understanding that the expenses and work of the Church go on regardless of whether or not we are in attendance. More importantly, demonstrating thanksgiving to God in a concrete way is the best way of going through life with an “attitude of gratitude” for all that He has given us.
Please prayerfully and soberly consider how you and your family can become part of the army of dedicated Christians that supports our Church. And don’t wait for someone to tap you on the shoulder!

THE Z.P. GOLDEN CIRCLE
Every Thursday, at 1:00 PM, the Zoodohos Peghe Golden Circle in co-operation with Hanac meets for a day of recreation, field trips as well as lunch. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our seniors to socialize and have a wonderful time.
In our community, Bronx Chapter 175, Order of AHEPA, meets monthly to plan and execute all programs that benefit all. For further information or for information on joining the organization, please come to the meetings on the second Tuesday evening of every month.
